It’s still week 2 and the study madness continues. I don’t recall putting anywhere near this much effort when I was a full time student.
As I’m currently spending most of my work day arguing with a spreadsheet I’m not doing Step 4 until the weekend.
I’m at work and it’s lunchtime so I’ve taken the opportunity to smash out some KCQ’s and comments on Chapters 2 and Chapter 3 (sections 3.1 and 3.2). This would be Step 5 of the requirements of ASS#1. I wanted to get this out of the way and move on to Step 4, stuff about GallifordTry and further reading at the weekend.
The draft is below and I’d appreciate some comments. Fair warning it’s 2.5 pages so get a beverage and get comfy first.
Paul Feasey ASS#1 Step 3 Onwards

Hi Paul,
I really like your way of how you were reflecting your understanding for chapter 2&3 combined with your experience. I wish I have read it a bit earlier, which would have saved me some time to understand some parts of chapter 2&3. In my first feedback, I focused mostly on reading about the annual report and some other information as I was struggling to find my way to analyse my company’s annual report.

Hey Paul
I really enjoy the way you write your KCQ’s on the chapters, due to your writing i actually understand both these chapters much better. I am yet to write my KCQ’s on these two chapters (yes a little bit behind) but after reading this i feel like it will take much less time for me to complete my writing. I have been much too focused on my company and its annual reports instead of indulging the key concepts within this unit.

Thank you. Glad I’ve been able to help you.
Blimey, you are a bit behind. KCQ’s are not that tricky once you understand the process. Remember you are demonstrating your understanding by taking the concept, explaining it in your own words, relating it back to something that is meaningful and relevant to your experience or understanding and then putting down questions about what you didn’t understand or require follow up. Have you done a PASS session? They are super helpful. A heads up Chapter 4 is much more complex, I’l be starting that one Monday. Good luck
